What is a Private Limited Company?

Private limited company is one of the highly recommended ways to start a business in India. This type of company offers limited liability for its shareholders with certain restrictions placed on the ownership. What documents required for a Private Limited Company?

The documents required for company registration can be grouped under three heads:

Documents for Directors: Two identity proof documents like Driver’s License Voter ID card, PAN, Passport, or government issued document are required for identity proof. Indian citizen are mandatory required to provide PAN. Foreigner citizen are mandatorily required to submit attested or passport copy.
Apart from Pan Card, the Directors must submit residence proof that is less than 2 months old. Residence Proof of documents includes bank statements, electricity bill, water bill, gas bill and telephone bill.
Documents for Registered Office: It is mandatory to maintain a registered office within India for Companies registration. In the case of leased property, we need to provide the lease deed for company registration along with a NOC from Landlord and any utility bills like EB bill property tax receipt/water bill copy of the registered office property. In case it is your own property, utility bills like water bill EB bill/property tax receipt/ of the registered office property.

Process for Company Registration

Once you have verified the documents and signed off, we will apply for incorporation with the MCA. The MCA will provide incorporation approval in about 48 – 72 hours. After incorporation approval is approved, the Government will issue the certificate of incorporation, PAN and TAN for the company and the TAN.
